Similar in style to our Alfriston pedestrian entrance gate, the Lewes gate has a flat jointed top rail without horns, so the gate can also be fitted within a frame. Construction is exactly the same as our other pedestrian gates.
When hanging these hardwood gates from free standing posts we recommend a minimum post dimension of 4'' x 4'' be used, and for wider gates (100cm +) we suggest increasing the post size to at least 6'' x 4''. Hardwood timber posts are also available to order. |
