As with all our pedestrian entrance gates the frame is made from 2'' thick material (finished at 45mm) and clad with 20mm tongue and groove slats giving an extremely solid construction.
This popular classic design can be used both as a garden entrance gate or as a personnel gate at the side of a house. When hanging these gates from free standing posts we recommend a minimum post dimension of 4'' x 4'' be used, and for wider gates (100cm +) we suggest increasing the post size to at least 6'' x 4''.
